LA Beer Fest is Los Angeles' largest annual craft beer festival, returning in 2026 for its 20th anniversary edition. Produced by Drink Eat Play, the event takes place at the Los Angeles Center Studios in downtown LA and features unlimited tastings from over 80 breweries pouring more than 200 different beers. The festival runs in two sessions — noon to 3 PM and 5 PM to 8 PM — giving attendees a choice of afternoon or evening experiences.
General admission tickets ($55) include unlimited beer samplings from all participating breweries, while Connoisseur tickets ($90) unlock premium perks including access to an exclusive indoor/outdoor event deck overlooking the festival, air-conditioned restrooms, limited-release and one-off beers not available to general admission, and commemorative glassware. Food is available separately from LA's best food trucks stationed throughout the venue.
The 2026 edition celebrates two decades of bringing craft beer culture to Los Angeles with live music, a DJ truck, cover bands, and the signature atmosphere that has made LA Beer Fest a staple of the city's food and drink calendar. The event is 21+ only, with designated driver tickets available for $20 cash at the entrance.
LA Beer Fest launched in the mid-2000s as the brainchild of Drink Eat Play, an event production company founded by Dan Silberstein. At a time when Los Angeles was still emerging as a craft beer destination compared to Northern California and the Pacific Northwest, the festival set out to prove that LA had a vibrant and growing beer culture worth celebrating.
