All Pints North Summer Brew Festival is the premier craft beer event in northern Minnesota, hosted annually by the Minnesota Craft Brewers Guild at Bayfront Festival Park on the shores of Lake Superior in Duluth. The festival brings together over 100 member breweries and brewpubs of the Guild, offering attendees unlimited samples of craft beer, cider, seltzer, hemp-derived THC seltzers, and non-alcoholic products in a scenic waterfront setting.
Founded in 2013, the festival has grown into one of the most popular summer beer events in the upper Midwest. Proceeds from the event support the Guild's nonprofit mission of promoting and protecting Minnesota's craft brewing industry. The 2026 edition takes place on Saturday, August 1, from 3:30 to 7:00 PM, with VIP early entry providing an additional 30 minutes of access to special and new releases.
General Admission tickets for 2026 are priced at $57 and include unlimited samples and a commemorative tasting glass. VIP Early Entry tickets are available for $77, and a non-alcoholic ticket option is offered at $22. A 10% group discount applies when purchasing 6 or more tickets. The event is strictly 21 and over.
All Pints North was born out of the Minnesota Craft Brewers Guild's desire to bring its flagship beer festival experience north. The Guild itself was founded in 2000, when a small group of brewpub brewers gathered in the basement of Town Hall Brewery in Minneapolis to discuss lobbying for changes to Minnesota law -- specifically, the right for small breweries to sell growlers directly to the public. In those early years, the Guild hosted the Autumn Brew Review and Winterfest in the Twin Cities, but northern Minnesota lacked a major showcase of its own. That changed when All Pints North debuted at Bayfront Festival Park on the shores of Lake Superior in Duluth. The inaugural edition drew modest crowds, but word of mouth spread fast: by its second year the festival sold out all 2,500 tickets, and it has been one of the hardest tickets to score in the upper Midwest ever since.
The growth of All Pints North mirrors the explosion of craft brewing across Minnesota. When the Guild held its first event in 2000, just twenty-two breweries existed statewide. Today the Guild counts more than 175 brewery and brewpub members, and the festival pours samples from over 100 of them in a single afternoon along the Duluth waterfront. Over the years the lineup has expanded beyond beer to include ciders, seltzers, hemp-derived THC beverages, and non-alcoholic options -- reflecting the broadening tastes of the craft-curious public.
What sets All Pints North apart is the setting. Bayfront Festival Park sits directly on the harbor, with views of Lake Superior's open water and the Aerial Lift Bridge. It is as much a celebration of Duluth's outdoor culture as it is of Minnesota beer. Proceeds from every ticket go directly to the Guild's nonprofit mission of promoting and protecting Minnesota's independent brewing industry, making each pint poured an act of advocacy. For a state that endures brutal winters, All Pints North has become the unofficial start of summer -- proof that the best beer festival in the North doesn't need to be in the big city.
