The Oklahoma Craft Beer Festival is Oklahoma's oldest and largest craft beer festival, held annually at the Oklahoma State Fair Park Pavilion in Oklahoma City. With approximately 13 years of history, the festival has grown into a signature event for the state's craft beer community, drawing enthusiasts from across Oklahoma and neighboring states. The event features over 60 breweries from Oklahoma and beyond, offering attendees a wide-ranging tour of craft beer and seltzer.
The festival operates on a dual-session format, with a first session running from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM and a second session from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM, allowing attendees to choose the time that works best. General Admission tickets are $50 and include a souvenir taster glass plus three hours of unlimited sampling from participating breweries and curated vendor booths. VIP tickets at $65 add an extra hour of early entry with smaller crowds and more direct access to brewers. The event is strictly 21 and over, and advance ticket purchase is recommended.

The Oklahoma Craft Beer Festival was born in May 2011 after a decade of grassroots effort to legitimize craft brewing in a state that had long been one of the most restrictive in the nation for beer. Oklahoma did not legalize homebrewing until 2010 — making it the 48th state to do so — and for years, brewers like Rick Huebert had to lobby for basic rights just to open a microbrewery. The first annual festival took over the streets of downtown Oklahoma City with every single state brewery in attendance, a symbolic arrival for a movement that had spent years fighting for a seat at the table.
Since that scrappy debut, the Oklahoma Craft Beer Festival has grown into the state's oldest and largest event of its kind, now hosting over 60 breweries from Oklahoma and beyond at the Oklahoma State Fair Park Pavilion. The move to a large indoor venue was a practical upgrade, making the event weather-proof and allowing for a dual-session format — afternoon and evening — that manages crowd sizes and gives attendees flexibility. The festival has evolved in parallel with Oklahoma's craft beer industry, which saw transformative change when strong beer and wine laws were modernized in 2018. What began as a celebration of a handful of pioneering breweries now reflects a mature, diverse brewing scene that stretches across the state.
