About Burp Fest

Burp Fest is the world's first and only touring competitive burping contest series. We show up at beer festivals across the United States with our booth, our decibel meters, our stopwatches, and one simple mission: to crown the loudest and longest burpers in America.

Where It Started

Burp Fest was born at the Spring Brews Festival in Concord, California — The Brewing Network's annual celebration of craft beer. What began as a fun idea at a local beer fest turned into something much bigger. The crowd loved it. The burpers loved it. The brewers loved it. And we realized this thing needed to travel.

The Contests

Every Burp Fest event features two championship categories:

• Loudest Burp Championship — measured by a professional decibel meter. The highest reading wins the crown, the trophy, and internet fame.
• Longest Burp Championship — timed to the hundredth of a second. Endurance meets artistry. Winners go viral.

Winners take home a trophy, exclusive Burp Fest merch, and a featured video across our social channels (@burpfest4life on TikTok, Instagram, and X).

Beer festivals are some of the most fun events in America — craft brewers, good food, live music, friends, and cold beer. We exist to add one more element of pure, ridiculous, unforgettable fun to every festival we visit. No pretension. No gatekeeping. Just burps.
