The Buellton Brew Fest is an annual craft beverage celebration in the heart of the Santa Ynez Valley, now in its 13th year for 2026. Held each May at River View Park in Buellton, the festival features over 55 craft breweries, wineries, cideries, and spirits producers alongside live music, food trucks, and entertaining activities like a mechanical bull and mega-sized beer pong.
VIP ticket holders enjoy early entry at 11:30 AM with access to specialized beers not available during General Admission, which begins at 12:30 PM. The festival runs until 4:30 PM with last pour at 4 PM. Brew Bus transportation is available from Santa Barbara, Goleta, Santa Maria, and Lompoc for those who want to enjoy the day responsibly. Managed by En Fuego Events in partnership with the City of Buellton.
The Buellton Brew Fest has been a highlight of the Santa Ynez Valley's event calendar since 2014, when the small town of Buellton — best known as a gateway to wine country — decided to celebrate the Central Coast's burgeoning craft beer scene. Now entering its 13th year, the festival takes over River View Park each May for an afternoon of craft beverage tasting that has grown to include over 55 breweries, wineries, cideries, and spirits producers.
What makes the Buellton Brew Fest special is its setting and its spirit. Nestled in the heart of the Santa Ynez Valley, the festival offers a relaxed, small-town atmosphere that feels more like a community block party than a corporate beer event. Live music from local and regional acts, a mechanical bull, mega-sized beer pong and cornhole, and Best Dressed competitions add layers of entertainment that keep the energy high from the first pour to the last.
The festival's organizers have thoughtfully addressed the practical challenge of responsible drinking in a rural area by offering Brew Bus transportation from Santa Barbara, Goleta, Santa Maria, and Lompoc, ensuring that attendees can enjoy the day without worrying about the drive home. Managed by En Fuego Events in partnership with the City of Buellton, the Brew Fest has become a beloved annual tradition that draws craft beverage enthusiasts from across the Central Coast.
