Fort Collins Beer Week is a seven-day celebration of craft beer held across the self-proclaimed Craft Beer Capital of Colorado. The 2026 edition runs from June 22-28, featuring events at 20+ local breweries including beer dinners, tastings, brewery tours, tap takeovers, educational tap talks, and the release of 23+ collaborative brews created specifically for the week.
Individual event pricing varies — some events are free while others require tickets purchased through the respective breweries or venues. The week-long format allows attendees to pick and choose events that interest them, from casual tap room hangouts to more structured beer pairing dinners and educational sessions.
Fort Collins Beer Week showcases the collaborative spirit of a city that punches well above its weight in craft beer. Home to major breweries like New Belgium, Odell, and Horse & Dragon alongside a thriving collection of smaller craft producers, Fort Collins has long been one of America's most important beer cities.
Fort Collins Beer Week was originally created in 2014 as a local leadup to the now-defunct Colorado Brewers Festival, giving the city's breweries a way to showcase their community spirit beyond a single-day event. When the Colorado Brewers Festival ended, Beer Week went on hiatus — but the idea never died. The brewers of Fort Collins, a tight-knit community that includes some of the biggest names in American craft beer, kept the collaborative relationships alive.
In 2025, Fort Collins Beer Week returned after a 10-year hiatus, and the revival proved that the concept was stronger than ever. The reborn Beer Week expanded the original vision, featuring collaboration brews created by pairs of local breweries, educational tap talks where brewers shared their craft, and a week-long calendar of events that turned the entire city into one extended beer festival. The driving force behind the revival included Natalie Yoder of Stodgy Brewing Co. and other local brewery owners who recognized that Fort Collins deserved a dedicated celebration of its brewing heritage.
The 2026 edition builds on that momentum with 20+ participating breweries and 23+ collaborative brews. Fort Collins is home to over 20 craft breweries in a city of roughly 170,000 people — one of the highest brewery-per-capita ratios in the country. Beer Week gives these breweries a platform to collaborate, innovate, and welcome beer lovers into their taprooms for a week of discovery.
