The Sun Valley Brewfest is a craft beer celebration held each June at Ketchum Town Square in the heart of Idaho's Sun Valley resort area. Hosted by the Sun Valley/Ketchum Rotary Club, the festival features 35+ craft breweries, cideries, Idaho wineries, and RTD producers, with all proceeds going directly back into the Wood River Valley community through college scholarships and nonprofit support. The 2026 edition — the festival's 12th anniversary — takes place Saturday, June 27, noon to 5:00 PM. Tickets are $30 online or $40 at the door. Guests sample craft beverages while enjoying local cuisine, games, and a live DJ in one of Idaho's most scenic mountain towns.
The Sun Valley Brewfest was launched in 2015 by the Sun Valley/Ketchum Rotary Club, a volunteer organization that has served the Wood River Valley for over 50 years. The concept was straightforward: create a summer event that would bring the community together, showcase the region's growing craft beverage scene, and raise money for local causes — particularly college scholarships for students from local high schools.
Ketchum Town Square proved to be the ideal venue. Nestled in the heart of the Sun Valley resort area and surrounded by mountains, the square provides an intimate, walkable setting. The festival intentionally keeps its scale manageable at 35+ producers, allowing for a more personal experience where attendees can talk to brewers. The $30 online ticket price keeps the event accessible — a rarity in a resort town — while the Rotary Club channels every dollar of profit into community causes. Over its first decade, the Brewfest has become a beloved fixture on the Sun Valley summer calendar.
