The Parkville Microbrew Festival is one of the Kansas City area's largest beer festivals and the second-largest nonprofit festival in Missouri. Held annually at English Landing Park in historic downtown Parkville, the 2026 edition marks the festival's 22nd year, scheduled for Saturday, April 25. Doors open at 11 AM with sampling from 1 PM to 5 PM, featuring 70+ breweries and homebrew clubs.
Tickets range from $45 early bird to $49 advance and $65 at the gate (pending availability — the festival has sold out every year since 2021). Admission includes a commemorative tasting glass, live music, and all the beer you care to sample. Food is available from on-site vendors.
The Parkville Microbrew Festival traces its origins to April 2004, when Main Street Parkville Association organized the first event with just eight local breweries and about 200 attendees. MSPA was originally established to support revitalization in historic downtown Parkville following the devastating Missouri River flood of 1993, and the microbrew festival quickly became its signature fundraiser.
From those humble beginnings, the festival has grown dramatically. What started with eight breweries now features over 70, and attendance has swelled from 200 to over 3,000. The festival has sold out every year since 2021, making it the second-largest nonprofit festival in Missouri.
English Landing Park along the Missouri River provides a natural, relaxed setting. The connection to MSPA's community mission gives the event a purpose beyond beer — every ticket sold supports downtown Parkville's ongoing revitalization, July 4th celebrations, Christmas on the River, and other community programs.
