The Columbus Brew Festival transforms COSI — Columbus's beloved Center of Science and Industry — into an after-hours craft beer destination. The 2026 edition takes place Saturday, March 7, featuring over 50 breweries and 150+ beers, plus full access to COSI's museum exhibits throughout the evening. It's a unique fusion of beer tasting and science museum exploration that sets it apart from traditional beer festivals.
General Admission ($55) runs from 8 PM to 11 PM. Early Admission ($70) starts at 7 PM and includes specialty beers poured exclusively during the first hour. VIP Admission ($95) adds a $30 food voucher for the museum cafe and a commemorative 2026 glass. Designated Driver tickets are $30 with limited availability. Tickets are not sold at the door — advance purchase is required. Parking is $10 in the garage.
The festival is a 21+ only event. All attendees enjoy unlimited samples from participating breweries while wandering through COSI's interactive exhibits, making it one of the most distinctive beer festival experiences in the Midwest.
The Columbus Brew Festival launched in 2022 as a collaboration between Drink Eat Play, a Los Angeles-based event production company, and COSI. The concept was to combine two beloved experiences — craft beer tasting and museum exploration — into one unforgettable evening. COSI, one of the top science museums in the country, provided an extraordinary backdrop with its interactive exhibits, planetarium, and spacious galleries.
The festival found immediate success, tapping into Columbus's thriving craft beer scene and the city's appetite for creative event experiences. Each year has seen growth, with the brewery roster expanding and the addition of tiered ticket options including VIP packages. The 2026 edition marks the festival's fifth year, firmly establishing it as a signature event on the Columbus beer calendar.
