The Winter Warmer Fest is the Ohio Craft Brewers Association's flagship winter beer event, held annually at the scenic Windows on the River venue in Cleveland. The 19th annual edition takes place Saturday, March 7, 2026, from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM, with Early Admission at 1:00 PM. More than 55 Ohio breweries participate, showcasing their finest winter, seasonal, limited edition, and high-gravity beers.
General Admission tickets ($58.99 advance) include a souvenir tasting glass and twenty 4-ounce beer samples. Early Admission tickets ($74.49 advance) grant an extra hour of access starting at 1:00 PM. Designated Driver tickets are available for $23.29 and include a food truck voucher. The fest features a special cask area with exclusive infusions available only at the event, plus live music throughout the venue and food trucks on hand.
The event regularly sells out in advance, and if it does, no tickets are sold at the door on event day. All attendees must be 21 years of age or older.
The Winter Warmer Fest was created by the Ohio Craft Brewers Association, established in 2008 as the voice of Ohio's craft brewing industry. The festival was conceived as a celebration of the bold, complex beers that define the winter season — high-gravity stouts, robust porters, warming barleywines, and seasonal specialties that Ohio breweries craft specifically for the colder months.
From its start, the fest found a natural home at Windows on the River, a Cleveland venue perched along the Cuyahoga River with dramatic views of the city skyline. The pairing of seasonal craft beer with Cleveland's winter backdrop proved irresistible, and the event quickly became one of the most anticipated dates on the Ohio beer calendar.
Now in its 19th year, the Winter Warmer Fest has become one of the largest brewery-association-organized events in the Midwest. The addition of a dedicated cask area — featuring one-off infusions and specialty pours available nowhere else — has elevated it from a simple tasting event to a destination for serious craft beer enthusiasts.
