The Texas Craft Brewers Festival is Austin's signature craft beer event, organized by the Texas Craft Brewers Guild — the nonprofit association advancing the Texas craft beer industry through advocacy and education. Held at Fiesta Gardens in East Austin, the festival features approximately 80 Texas craft breweries pouring more than 200 handcrafted beers available for sampling.
The event also includes food trucks, live music, and more. The Texas Craft Brewers Guild has been hosting this community-driven celebration since 2003, making it one of the longest-running craft beer festivals in Texas. Tickets typically launch in June.
The Texas Craft Brewers Festival traces its roots back to 2003 (with predecessors dating to the mid-1990s), making it one of the state's oldest continuous celebrations of craft beer. The festival is organized by the Texas Craft Brewers Guild, the nonprofit industry association that advocates for Texas craft breweries and promotes beer education.
Held each fall at Fiesta Gardens — a historic public park in East Austin along Lady Bird Lake — the festival has grown alongside Texas's booming craft beer scene. What started as a modest gathering has expanded to feature roughly 80 breweries and over 200 beers, reflecting the explosive growth of the Texas craft brewing industry. The event embodies the Guild's tagline: "For the Texas Craft Beer Community. By the Texas Craft Beer Community."
