Yellowstone Beerfest is an annual craft beer celebration held at City Park in downtown Cody, Wyoming — the gateway to Yellowstone National Park. The 2026 edition on July 18 features more than 60 breweries pouring over 220 brews, live music, and food trucks for six hours of unlimited beer sampling.
VIP ticket holders ($55) gain early entry at 1:30 PM, while general admission ($45 advance, $50 at the gate) opens at 3 PM. The festival runs until 8 PM. All attendees must be 21 or older with valid ID. The 2025 lineup included performances by Cruz Contreras & The Black Lillies and Kalyn Beasley.
Yellowstone Beerfest is a nonprofit event, with 100% of proceeds donated to local charities in the Cody community. The move to downtown Cody's City Park provides a band shell, shade, and a central location that puts attendees in the heart of a town named the 2024 Best Small Town Beer Scene in America. The combination of world-class beer, Yellowstone-adjacent location, and charitable mission makes this one of Wyoming's most distinctive summer festivals.
Yellowstone Beerfest was created as a nonprofit celebration of craft beer in Cody, Wyoming, a small town that has earned outsized recognition for its beer scene — including being named the 2024 Best Small Town Beer Scene in America. The festival leverages Cody's unique position as the eastern gateway to Yellowstone National Park, drawing visitors who combine a day of craft beer tasting with the outdoor adventures that define the region.
After years at a previous location, Yellowstone Beerfest moved to downtown Cody's City Park, bringing the festival into the heart of the community. The park's band shell and shade trees provide natural infrastructure for a summer beer festival, while the downtown setting means attendees can easily explore Cody's restaurants, shops, and other attractions.
The festival's nonprofit model — donating 100% of proceeds to local charities in the Bighorn Basin — has made it a community cornerstone. With over 60 breweries and 220+ brews on tap, Yellowstone Beerfest punches well above its weight for a town of Cody's size, reflecting both the community's passion for craft beer and the event's ability to attract breweries from across the country.
